The Crop Protection segment offers insect and nematode management, disease management, weed control, nitrogen management, and biological products to protect against weeds, insects and other pests, and disease for the input agricultural industry. It markets and distributes its products through agency model, regional brands, and retail brands, as well as third parties. EIDP, Inc. was formerly known as E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company and changed its name to EIDP, Inc. in January 2023. The company was founded in 1802 and is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. EIDP, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Corteva, Inc.
