The company was formerly known as Fujikura Kagaku Mfg. Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Fujikura Kasei Co., Ltd. in December 1958. Fujikura Kasei Co., Ltd. was founded in 1938 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
